Most of our meals contain meat and with that comes responsibility. Together with our customers and suppliers, we ensure animal welfare standards that reflect our shared values.
Wherever possible, we use chicken bred according to the New Standard and pork carrying the local regulations label.
At the same time, we continuously develop meat-free alternatives. Meals enriched with vegetables or made with plant-based proteins that match the taste and quality of our originals.

Our Nijmegen production facility is certified according to BREEAM (4-star ranking). A standard covering everything from lighting efficiency to the green landscape around the building.
We operate a unique membrane-based water purification system. This ensures that our wastewater is already partially purified before reaching the sewer system. A simple but powerful way to reduce impact.
NO-DEFORESTATION COMMITMENT
Plaza Foods is committed to no deforestation for soy and beef-related raw materials by December 31, 2025. We will not purchase soy or beef sourced from land that has been deforested after 2020.
